摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fail-safe function for a protective element, having a heat generating body and a low-melting point metallic body on a substrate and in which the low-melting point metallic body is fused by generation of heat of the heat generating body, by forming the number of fusible points more than the number of points to be fused of the low-melting point metallic body. SOLUTION: The protective element has a heat generating body 3 and a low-melting point metallic body 5 on a substrate 2, and the low-melting point metallic body 5 is melt by generation of heat of the heat generating body 3. The position of the low-melting point metallic body 5 is formed on a dummy electrode 10, such that the number of fusible points of the low-melting point metallic body 5 becomes more than the number of points to be fused.
