PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading unit and an image reading apparatus where the assemblability for fixing to a main body of a unit provided with a photoelectric conversion means is improved. SOLUTION: A first unit consisting of a first fixed member 20 and a second fixed member 30 and a third fixed member (a second unit) 40 have adhesion faces (first and second plane parts) brought into close contact with each other to perform optical adjustment of an image sensor 2, and thereafter, an adhesive is charged to a groove to fix these units.
