PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oscillator capable of reducing phase noise. SOLUTION: This oscillator 10 includes a resonance circuit 12, an amplifier circuit 14. The amplifier circuit 14 includes an amplifier 16 and makes the power amplification factor of the circuit 14 have a frequency characteristic by connecting an impedance element 18 having the frequency characteristic to the amplifier 16. A power amplification factor in a frequency band other than the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 10 is decreased at least by 3 dB from a power amplification factor in the oscillation frequency.
