PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna holding member whose manufacturing cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A rectangular flat plate-shaped metal plate 5 having conductivity is subjected to press working to form almost cylindrical holding body 11 having a female screw on the inner circumferential part. The metal plate 5 is subjected to press working to form a connection piece 15 projecting from the outer circumferential part of the body 11 in an axial direction. A manufacturing cost can be reduced compared with when the connection piece 15 is held by and connected to the body 11. Since the tapping of the female screw forming on the inner circumferential parts of the body 11 can be formed at the time of performing press working, female screw forming can be performed more easily than when female screw forming is performed with cutting working.
