PURPOSE: A screen display device and a method of a portable terminal are provided to control at least two displays through one display driver while sensing an input of a touch pad, thereby minimizing a mounting area and reducing a material cost. CONSTITUTION: A display(170) consists of the first display(171) and the second display(172), and displays inputted data. A display driver(160) has an address area of the first display(171) and an address area of the second display(172). A controller(110) displays data inputted by controlling the display driver(160) on the first display(171) and the second display(172). A touch pad(180) inputs a signal through a contact. A touch screen driver senses the contact of the touch pad.
