PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition for mud-stain, showing good detergency. SOLUTION: This detergent composition for the mud-stain comprises at least one kind of chelating agent (A) selected from the group consisting of tripolyphosphoric acid, metaphosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid, oxalic acid, 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid, and their salts; and at least one kind of dispersing agent (B) selected from the group consisting of a specific cationic surfactant (BX), a specific amine (BY), a specific amphoteric polymer (BZ), a polymer (B1) comprising an anionic vinyl monomer as a principal constituent unit, and another polymer (B2) comprising an N-vinylpyrrolidone monomer as a principal constituent unit. When the composition is diluted with ion exchanged water, a pH of the diluted solution in which the concentration of the chelating agent (A) is adjusted to 1 mass% is less than 5 at 25°C.
