PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality diagnosis system capable of detecting a bad condition state which is a prior stage leading to abnormality based on detected operation data and operating environment data of an air conditioner and furthermore predicting abnormality. SOLUTION: The abnormality diagnosis system for the air conditioner computes an evaluation decision value P for evaluating normality and abnormality based on the detected operation data and operating environment data, and compares the computed evaluation decision value P with an abnormality decision value E1 for abnormality determination to determine abnormality. At a point of time Ta when the evaluation decision value Pa exceeds a bad condition decision value F1 showing a bad condition which is a prior stage of abnormality, a fluctuation characteristic G is computed based on the stored evaluation decision values P and added operation time T corresponding to each evaluation decision value, and an abnormality arrival time (Ta-Tb) up to abnormality is computed based on the computed fluctuation characteristic G and abnormality decision value E1 and displayed.
