An iris recognition system, a method thereof, and a security system and method using the same are provided to detect and recognize the identification information of a regular man more quickly and provide correct regular man security management. An iris recognition system comprises the followings: a location sensing unit(100) which generates the location information of a user; a zoom camera(400) which generates the image information of the iris; a control unit(200) which controls the zoom camera of the location information; and a reading unit(500) which recognizes an iris area in the image information of the iris from the zoom camera and identifies the user by using the iris area.
