The invention concerns a proceeding for the application of labels (B) onto products (E) moving in a flow past an application station (H) for said labels (B) by means of a product conveyor (D). According to the invention, there being applied label (B) to, and delivered label (B) from, respectively, a common label-receiving and label-applying conveyor (I) at different speeds.
