PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera in which a sufficient finger placing space can be ensured even if the screen size of a monitor is made large. SOLUTION: The digital still camera (electronic apparatus) 1 is provided with a rotating dial 18 for mode switching. The upper surface of the rotating dial 18 is covered with a transparent protective cover 21 while keeping the dial 18 rotatable, so that the upper surface of the protective cover 21 can be used as the finger placing space.
