PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform a brightness level of irradiating light that is emitted from a line light guide and linearly converged. SOLUTION: The line light guide includes a light source 9 and a plurality of light transmission systems E, F composed of a number of optical fibers 2 that are bundled together on the incident side. The optical fibers are bundled respectively in plurality on the exiting side to form a block, with the block of each light transmission system arranged linearly and alternately at random along the longitudinal direction of the long narrow opening 4 of a common flat receptacle 5. Each light transmission system makes a fiber mixing mechanism 3 interposed on the incident side from the random arrangement position, wherein this fiber mixing mechanism is configured to sort the optical fibers of each system on the incident side into all systems on the outputting side.
