An angular velocity sensor comprises an oscillator having a drive electrode and a sensing electrode, a case (30) containing the oscillator and having a case electrode connected to the drive electrode and the sensing electrode at the outer bottom surface, at least three terminals (44) electrically connected to the case electrode at one-end sides of the terminals and supporting the case (30), accommodating part (43) having a mounting section (47), fixing the other end-sides of the terminals (44) and accommodating the case (30) placed on the mounting section (47), a cover (54) for covering the accommodating part (43), and a supporting member (56) disposed inside the accommodating part (43) or the cover (54) and supporting the case (30). The center of gravity (57) of the entire case (30) containing the oscillator is in the same point as the geometrical center (58) of the circular cone or a pyramid formed by the support center of the support member (56) with respect to the case (30) and the mounting section (47). With this, an angular velocity sensor having a stable output characteristic is provided. |
