PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of supplying gas to a fuel battery without stopping the gas supply to the fuel battery for a long time even when a gas meter having a leakage detection function is provided.SOLUTION: A gas supply system has: a fuel battery unit 1; a gas flow channel 2 from a gas supply source to the fuel battery unit 1; a gas meter 3 provided in the middle of the flow channel 2 and having a leakage detection function; and a communication line 5 connecting between a controller 10 of the fuel battery unit 1 and a meter controller 34 of the gas meter 3. The leakage detection function determines that leakage may occur when a timer reaches a first predetermined time (for example, 30 days). The controller 10 stops the fuel battery unit 1 every a second predetermined time (for example, 27 days) shorter than the first predetermined time. When confirming a no-leakage state, the meter controller 34 transmits a signal to the controller 10 via the communication line 5. Then, the controller 10 resumes an operation of the fuel battery unit 1. |
