An apparatus for cleaning a steel sheet coating roll is provided to prevent the generation of surface defect of a steel sheet coating roll due to the surface impurities, thereby improving the coating quality of a steel sheet. An apparatus for cleaning a steel sheet coating roll(1) comprises a horizontal movement unit(10) which is installed at the lower part a steel sheet coating roll(120) so as to move horizontally along the coating roll; and a foreign substance removing unit(30) which is connected vertically with the horizontal movement unit so as to be contact with the surface of the coating roll for removing the foreign substance removing unit. |
