PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a bottled beverage having a suppressed unpleasant harsh taste. SOLUTION: The method for producing a bottled beverage comprises a process for sterilizing a tea extracted liquid or a tea extract obtained from tea or a tea extract at≥80°C and <130°C under a condition of F value of≥0.1 minute and <10 minutes and a process for sterilizing a mixture containing the tea extracted liquid or the tea extract after the sterilization treatment, at 80-138°C under a condition of F value of 0.001-40 minutes.
