PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic refractory having small aging change using a phosphate based binder.SOLUTION: The plastic refractory contains a raw material containing a refractory aggregate, a refractory clay and a phosphate based binder, and organic acid and a diol compound. An addition amount of the organic acid is 0.5 to 3 mass% based on 100 mass% of the raw material as an external percentage. The addition amount of the diol compound is 0.5 to 4 mass% based on 100 mass% of the raw material as an external percentage. The organic acid preferably has 6 or less of carbon atoms and a ratio of the number of a carbon atom A and the number of an oxygen atom B in the organic acid (B/A) of 1≤(B/A)≤2, and 1 or more water soluble organic acid. Further the diole compound preferably is at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a compound having 2 carbon atoms and a compound having 3 carbon atoms. |
