摘要 A damping force-adjustable shock absorber in accordance with the present invention, comprises: a piston valve divided into a compression chamber and a tension chamber in a cylinder with which fluid is filled; a piston rod extended to the outside of the cylinder in a state of being connected to the piston valve; a connection passage formed in the piston rod to communicate the tension chamber with the compression chamber through the piston valve; and an auxiliary valve which forms an auxiliary passage. The auxiliary valve includes: a housing to which the connection passage and the internal auxiliary passage are connected in a state of being coupled to a lower part of the piston valve, wherein the auxiliary passage is formed on a lower part to be connected to the tension chamber; a first disk installed in the auxiliary chamber in a state of dividing the chamber into an upper room and a lower room, wherein a first orifice hole is vertically formed through the center; a pair of second disks which are installed in a state of dividing the inside of the upper room and the lower room into upper and lower parts, and closes the first orifice hole by coming in contact with the first disk during a high amplitude and low frequency stroke, wherein a second orifice hole is vertically formed along an edge region; and a pair of third disks installed in a state of dividing the upper part of the upper room and the lower part of the lower room into upper and lower sides, wherein a third orifice hole is vertically formed through the center. Accordingly, the damping force-adjustable shock absorber can reduce residual vibration and realize soft riding quality.
