PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of suppressing breakage generated on boots.SOLUTION: A disc brake is equipped with a caliper 15 which is supported by a carrier 12 through a pin 53 so as to move in a disc axial direction, and presses a pair of pads 13 on a disc 11; and an extensible boot 16 which coats the pin 53. The caliper 15 is provided with a boot protecting portion 100 in which a distance from a disc center is more than a distance till an outer end in a disc radial direction of the boot 16 while superimposing a position on the boot 16 in a disc axial direction, and the boot protecting portion 100 at least partially projects outward in the disc radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
