PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood treatment agent excellent in impregnation or treatment properties and generating no harmful gas even at the time of combustion, and a wood treatment method, in particular the treatment agent and the treatment method suitable for a soft wood material. SOLUTION: Wood with a specific gravity of 0.7 or blow, in particular the soft wood material, for example, a montery pine is coated, or preferably impregnated with a (poly)aluminum phosphate/siloxane co-condensate under a pressure of 0.4-2.2 MPa. Herein, the (poly)aluminum phosphate/siloxane co-condensate is obtained by reacting a siloxane compound (a) represented by the chemical formula 1 (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is hydrogen, a 1-18C alkyl or aryl group and R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are the same or different and are a 1-3C alkyl group) and a (poly)aluminum phosphate condensate (b), which is obtained by condensing (poly)phosphoric acid and aluminum hydroxide in a P/Al atomic ratio so that the Si/Al atomic ratio of Si in (a) and Al in (b) is 8-1,040.
