The method involves producing one or more rotationally-symmetric recesses, from the outside, at a housing (1) by using hot extrusion presses. Height and depth are determined by the arrangement of the tool. The heating for the extrusion press takes place only in the area of the recessing. The heating and extrusion press are produced by rotation of the tool. A rotationally-symmetric, preferably cylindrical, tool consists of hard material with good temperature-reliability and firmness for extrusion molding.
