PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a terminal fitting for which manufacturing cost can be reduced by easily forming contacts only in necessary parts, improving precision in forming positions of the contacts and by carrying out a pressing process and contact formation for the terminal fitting in a continuous line. SOLUTION: The terminal fitting 20 is manufactured by coating gold ink containing gold particles with conductivity in a position forming the contact after having a copper plate press processed and formed into a shape for the terminal fitting 20.
