<p>Provided is a coin discriminating device, which is used in an automatic vendor or the like and can discriminate the coins properly. The coin discriminating device to be mounted in an apparatus having a metal portion, comprises a coin passage for passing the coins therethrough, and a coin discriminating coil unit arranged along the coin passage for discriminating the coins. The coin discriminating device is characterized by comprising either conductive members having their end portions connected electrically with each other and having inductance components or a substrate having those conductive members formed therein, and in that the conductive members or the substrate is disposed on the side, as opposed to the coin passage, of the coin discriminating coil unit and between the coin discriminating coil unit and the metal portion.</p> |
