PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified cross-section fiber capable of efficiently producing fine composite fiber by being splitly used in particular.SOLUTION: Provided is modified cross-section fiber having a structure in which, in the optional fiber cross section orthogonal with the longitudinal direction thereof, a plural pieces of a composite fiber structure formed from a first thermoplastic resin and a second thermoplastic resin whose melting point or softening point is lower than that of the first thermoplastic resin are connected by a connected body formed from a third thermoplastic resin whose melting point or softening point is higher than that of the second thermoplastic resin. |
