<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a WTRU and method for mitigating WTRU-to-WTRU interference in wireless communication. <P>SOLUTION: A WTRU comprises a processor configured to form a plurality of fixed, predetermined antenna beam patterns, to select one among the preset antenna beam patterns in order to reduce energy to be received by at least one nearby WTRU, and to switch to the selected antenna beam pattern; and a receiver configured to receive a downlink (DL) signal in the selected antenna beam pattern; and a transceiver, configured to utilize the same antenna beam pattern as the selected antenna beam pattern to transmit an uplink (UL) signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
