PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately generate a relighting image obtained when outputting an illumination image from a projector.SOLUTION: An orthogonal illumination generation part 24 generates a positive illumination image and a negative illumination image every orthogonal matrix P^and outputs from a projector each of positive illumination image and the negative illumination image. A synchronization control part 22 controls either the positive illumination image or the negative illumination image so that it is photographed with a camera. A camera response observation part 26 detects a pixel having a luminance value larger than predetermined threshold from an observation image photographed with the camera as a pixel of the camera response and generates a response image. An illumination component analysis part 28 calculates inner product with a column vector representing an illumination image. A relighting image generation part generates a relighting image of each color component representing a simulation result obtained when the illumination image is outputted from the projector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
