PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of carbon deposition capable of estimating a carbon deposition state in fuel gas from a gas composition, checking a verification result by experiment, and a determination method of the carbon deposition.SOLUTION: The evaluation method of carbon deposition for estimating existence of carbon deposition in a fuel gas including carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and steam comprises: specifying a fuel gas having a gas composition obtained on the basis of a first partial pressure ratio of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, participating in Boudouard reaction and a second partial pressure ratio of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and steam, participating in aqueous gas shift reaction; circulating the specified fuel gas in a sample without varying the gas composition before and after circulating the fuel gas in the sample; and estimating existence of carbon deposition in the fuel gas by estimating whether or not carbon is deposited in the sample. |
