PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor for electron beam excitation without color unevenness and with high efficiency and long life in a cathode luminescence type light-emitting element by electron beam excitation used for an electric field emission display or the like, and to provide a light-emitting element and a light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes: a single crystal substrate; a phosphor for electron beam excitation; and an electron beam source which irradiates the phosphor with electrons. The phosphor for electron beam excitation is composed of a perovskite oxide epitaxial thin film formed on the single crystal substrate and containing at least Ca, Sr, Ti, and Pr. Light emission luminance is further increased by forming a transparent conductive film on the oxide epitaxial thin film. |
