PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position sensor which is superior in terms of positional accuracy of detected depressed position and depression detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: A position sensor includes: a square sheet-like optical waveguide W comprising a grid of cores 2 sandwiched between a square sheet-like undercladding layer 1 and overcladding layer 3; a light-emitting element 4 coupled to one end face of each linear core 2 constituting the grid of cores 2; and a light-receiving element 5 coupled to the other end faces of the linear cores 2. The cores 2 have a modulus of elasticity that is greater than those of the undercladding layer 1 and overcladding layer 2, and a ratio of thickness to width of no less than 2. |
