PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner sleeve for connecting beam pipes of a guard fence such that a bolt for fixing the beam pipe and the inner sleeve is not tightly fastened and the beam pipe can be fixed to an inner sleeve body without any backlash.SOLUTION: An inner sleeve 1 which is inserted into an end of a beam pipe 4 and fixed to the beam pipe 4 with a bolt 5 and a nut so as to connect the beam pipe 4 and a beam pipe 4 of a guard fence to each other, includes an inner sleeve body 2 and pressing means of pressing the beam pipe 4 against the inner sleeve body 2 with elastic force, and the pressing means comprises a coil spring 7 which is provided in the inner sleeve body 2, and a pressing member 8 which is fitted to the coil spring 7 and projects from an opening 2c formed in the inner sleeve body 2 by the elastic force that the coil spring 7 has to abut on an inner peripheral surface of the beam pipe 4. |
