PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed air supply technique for enabling the activation of a proper number of compressors with no waste even when the amount of compressed air to be used for loads is changed in a short time.SOLUTION: A minimum secured amount calculation part 14 subtracts a make-up supply amount &Dgr;Q from each planned usage amount Qa at a time a preceding time &Dgr;T later than a time T to calculate a minimum secured amount Qc to be minimally secured at each time. A minimum activated number calculation part 16 calculates a minimum activated number Nmin of compressors 1A-1N to be activated at each time for supplying the minimum secured amount Qc on the basis of the minimum secured amount Qc and the individual reference amounts of compressed air to be discharged from the compressors 1A-1N. A compressor control part 17 activates the compressors 1A-1N at each time until an actual activated number N reaches a minimum activated number Nmin when the actual activated number N does not reach the minimum activated number Nmin. |
