PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production system capable of achieving the reduction of an occupied area and facilitating a configuration change.SOLUTION: A production system according to an embodiment comprises: a plurality of work units 12-14 each having a casing 11a and a work robot 11e using an area above the casing 11a as a work area; and a transfer robot 15 transferring a workpiece 100 among the work units 12-14.
