PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the sensitivity of an airway of a mouse model with such an allergic airway inflammation as allergic rhinitis or asthma, and a measuring apparatus using the method.SOLUTION: After the larynx and the pharynx of a mouse model are removed, a choanae cannula is interposed into the choanae and the nasal cavity resistance of the upper airway is measured. Further, the nasal cavity resistance of the upper airway and the lung airway resistance of the lower airway are independently measured at the same time. A nasal cavity resistance measuring unit and a lung airway resistance measuring unit of the airway resistance measuring apparatus measure a nasal cavity resistance and a lung airway resistance separately at the same time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
