FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of constructing network switching signals (data transmission), namely to methods for prevention of faults. Method provides for receiving by network device of first data packet, which includes first IP address, identifying first source of ARP response, receiving by network device of second data packet, which includes second IP address, identifying second source of ARP response, wherein first data packet includes identifier of network device port, on which first ARP response of first subnet was received, second data packet includes identifier of network device port. It is determined whether a false ARP response from first subnet or from second subnet by comparing data accessible network device included in first and second data packets with information stored in first and second databases relating to first and second subnet, and if network device it is determined that there has been false ARP response, then transmission of data packet containing a false ARP response of first or second subnet not is performed.EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of failures of local computer network.1 cl, 2 dwg |
