PURPOSE: A brushless DC motor is provided to improve the efficiency thereof and reduce vibration and noise thereof. CONSTITUTION: In a brushless DC motor comprising a rotor(40) having a rotor core(42) in which a permanent magnet is embedded, each polarity of the rotor(40) is formed by stacking an outer permanent magnet(44) and an inner permanent magnet(46) and embedding them into the rotor core(42). The outer permanent magnet(44) has a outer circumference identical to that of the rotor(40).
