PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the installation of a branch joint easier and piping work to a header easier when installing a header for upper stories taller than the second floor of an unit building. SOLUTION: In a piping construction for unit building 10, a pipe shaft 50 rising along the wall surfaces of the building unit 11 and 12 is provided, headers 51 and 61 are installed to the wall surface of the upper story building unit 12 inside the pipe shaft, rising pipes 52A and 62A connected to the inlet of the upper story headers 51 and 61 from the lower story side are extended to the inside of the pipe shaft 50, and the supply pipes from the headers 51 and 61 for upper story side are extended to the inner side of the pipe shaft 50.
