CATALYST FILM, CATALYST CARRIER AND THEIR MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst film having large adhesive strength to a substrate and many reactively active centers, a catalyst carrier and methods for manufacturing the catalyst film and the catalyst carrier. SOLUTION: Each of this catalyst film and this catalyst carrier has anα-Al2O3film and anη-Al2O3film arranged in this order on the substrate and is manufactured by depositing theα-Al2O3film on the substrate by an aerosol deposition method and forming theη-Al2O3film on theα-Al2O3film. At least one catalytically active component selected from ruthenium, palladium and platinum is deposited on theη-Al2O3film of this catalyst film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
