PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding quality determining method for ultrasonic welding capable of accurately determining the quality of ultrasonic welding. SOLUTION: The welding quality determining method determines welding quality for welded sections of two or more of works in which a recessed section is formed at least a part of each work and ultrasonic welding is performed on the recessed sections of the works. The welding determining method comprises a process (step S1) of measuring the depth and the shape of the recessed section by a non-contact or contact measuring method, and a process (step S2 to S8) of determining welding quality for the depth and the shape of the recessed section as evaluation parameters.
