PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent completely the engagement of sputters, etc., with respect to the male screw of the level foot of an apparatus housing. SOLUTION: The apparatus housing has a level foot 3 mounted on the bottom wall of its main body 1 by engaging a male screw 2 of the level foot 3 with the bottom wall. A thin flexible plate 5 having a screw inserting hole 4 for passing therethrough the male screw 2 is fastened to the approaching base-end of the level foot 3 which is present in the inside of the main body 1 of the apparatus housing. Hereupon, the diameter of the screw inserting hole 4 is so formed constitutionally as to make it smaller than the nominal diameter of the male screw 2 and as to contact pressingly the screw inserting hole 4 with the surface of the screw thread of the male screw 2.
