<p>The invention discloses devices, methods and systems for implanting articulating devices on the human spine. In some embodiments, three or more vertebrae are movable interconnected with artificial joints. Some embodiments are particularly well suited for implanting in the lumbosacral area of the spine. Some embodiments employ hybrid systems combining translaminar fixation with pedicular fixation of the device components. Some embodiments combine facet joint replacement with disc replacement.</p>
