摘要 <p>In microcatheter (1), shaft tube (2) is partitioned into, toward the distal end from the connector, proximal zone (3), intermediate zone (4) and distal zone (5). These respectively consist of three types of multilayer tubes with different hardnesses. Internal layer (8) extends over the whole region from the proximal zone (3) through the distal zone (5) of the shaft tube (2). The internal layer (8) on its outer circumference is fitted with reinforcing material (7). Over the whole region from the proximal zone (3) through the distal zone (5), first outer layer (11) extends so as to cover the internal layer (8) and the reinforcing material (7) in a fashion adhering thereto. Thus, there is constructed a fundamental layer structure composed of internal layer (8)/reinforcing material (7)/first outer layer (11). In the proximal zone (3), the first outer layer (11) of the fundamental layer structure is covered with third outer layer (13). In the intermediate zone (4), the first outer layer (11) of the fundamental layer structure is covered with second outer layer (12). By virtue of this structuring, the microcatheter realizes an enhancement of pressure resistance and an enhancement of antikinking property to thereby enable superselective approaching to minute blood vessels.</p>
