PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonant scanner scanning the laser beam in the 3-dimensional area in a fan shape by tilting the scanning mirror of the resonant scanner. SOLUTION: The resonant scanner R for scanning by the laser beam using a mirror 1 has a driver K to tilt the mirror 1. The mirror 1 scans the laser beam in a fan shape and its surface is tilted by the above driver K. The driver K has a mirror-tilt shaft 3 in contact with the mirror 1, a cam 7 to move the shaft 3 in a back and forth direction, and a stepping motor 9 to turn the cam 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
