The present invention provides a liquid sample analysis apparatus using optical density, and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a liquid sample analysis apparatus comprises: a lower transparent glass on which a liquid sample is located; an upper transparent glass to press down the arranged liquid sample and spread out; a rotary knob to adjust a height of the upper transparent glass; a support unit having the rotary knob, supporting the lower transparent glass and the upper transparent glass; and a control unit to calculate an optical density at a reference thickness based on a predetermined reference thickness of the lower transparent glass and upper transparent glass, calculating an amount of solute with respect to the liquid sample.
