PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection accuracy of magnetism from a medium.SOLUTION: A discrimination section 13 includes: a magnetism detection section 26 for detecting a magnetic feature of each of conveyed bills; a plurality of conveyance rollers 31 and 37 which are disposed to hold the magnetism detection section 26 along a bill conveyance direction and convey bills; tension rollers 33 and 39 which are disposed at positions facing the conveyance rollers 31 and 37 across a conveyance path 24 so as to sandwich and convey bills between the conveyance rollers 31 and 37; and a magnetic sensor substrate 34A which is located between the tension roller 33 and the tension roller 39, has a direction along a surface direction fixed to cross a bill conveyance direction, and controls the magnetism detection section 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
