PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of a muffler which protrudes to an engine and a side of a work machine body.SOLUTION: A muffler 1 includes: a muffler housing 2 having an inner wall surface 2A having an exhaust gas inlet 20 connected with an exhaust port of an engine and an outer wall surface 2B having an exhaust gas outlet 21; a partition plate 3 which divides an internal space of the muffler housing 2 into a first chamber 2S1 in which the exhaust gas inlet 20 opens and a second chamber 2S2 in which the exhaust gas outlet 21 opens; and an exhaust emission control device 4 attached to the partition plate 3 and allowing the first chamber 2S1 and the second chamber 2S2 to communicate with each other. The inner wall surface 2A includes an expansion part 22 which expands to the engine side relative to the exhaust gas inlet 20. An inner end part of the exhaust emission control device 4 is housed in the expansion part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
