PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal connection between a flexible tube or a flexible hose made of an elastomer or a synthetic polymer and a metal joint member.SOLUTION: A joint member encloses an exterior layer (9') at a free end of a flexible tube or a flexible hose. A seal area (3') is defined by a recessed part of a tube joint (13') into which the seal material (23) is introduced. An inner liner layer (1') of the flexible tube or the flexible hose extends to the seal area (3') and is coupled to the seal material. The seal material (23) and the inner liner layer (1') may be formed by a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material.
