PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier resin composition to oxygen and water vapor excellent in transparency and adhesiveness against a base material; and a gas barrier film.SOLUTION: A gas barrier resin composition contains an inorganic laminar compound (A), an anionic acrylamide copolymer (B) which contains 99-55 mol% of acrylamides (b1) and 1-45 mol% of at least one α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids (b2) selected from the group consisting an acrylic acid, a methacrylic acid, an itaconic acid and a maleic anhydride as constituent monomers, and has a weight average molecular weight of 250,000 to 1,000,000, and at least one polyvalent carboxylic acids (C) selected from the group consisting of a citric acid, a tartaric acid, a malic acid, an aspartic acid and a glutamic acid, where (A)/(B) is 40/60 to 70/30 (in terms of a solid content by weight), and a use ratio (in terms of a solid content by weight) of (C) to the total of (A) and (B) is 1-30 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
