PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knot formation device with which a knot can be automatically formed by a simple procedure.SOLUTION: A knot M can be automatically formed in a string-shaped member L by passing a first position through a loop R by sequentially performing, through operation of an operation member 16: a first loop formation operation by which a first arm mechanism 14a and a second arm mechanism 14b are separated from each other so as to form the loop of the string-shaped member L by arm bodies 36a, 36b; an arm approach operation by which the first arm mechanism 14a and the second arm mechanism 14b approach each other; a first switching operation of switching from a state where the first position and a second position of the string-shaped member L are held by a first holding member and a fourth holding member to a state where they are held by a second holding member and a third holding member; and a first arm separation operation by which the first arm mechanism 14a and the second arm mechanism 14b are separated from each other in the state where the first position and the second position of the string-shaped member L are held by the second holding member and the third holding member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21 |
