The system includes an acquisition device (11) comprising a network of transducers (4) for generating a plurality of non-focussed sound waves, a light-emitting device (8) for emitting an incident light wave and generating marked light waves comprising an acoustic-optical component that is shifted in frequency by the non-focussed sound waves, and a detector (9) for acquiring measurement signals (S). The system also comprises a processing device (12) for determining a light intensity (I) in the observation zone (3) from the measurement signals (S).
