PURPOSE: A power source control device is provided to reduce power consumption and improve energy efficiency of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: The power source control device comprises' the 1st power conversion part(20) to convert commercial AC supplied from the power source input part(10) into a load driving DC; the 2nd power conversion part(30) to generate electric power from the temperature difference realized in a condenser(4-22) or a evaporator(4-26); a control part(40) to output power control signal by the level of the power source generated by the 2nd power conversion part(20); and a power switching part(50) to deliver power selected from the 1st power conversion part(20) and the 2nd power conversion part(30) to the load drive part(60) by the power control signal of the control part(40).
