PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor core of a commutator motor in which simultaneous punching of an inner and an outer diameters is enabled without generating a deformed part in the outer periphery, and initial unbalance of an armature can be reduced without decreasing motor efficiency. SOLUTION: The position of a residual stock part 8 is made the position of an open slot 7. The width Wa of the residual stock part 8 is made smaller than the width W of the open slot 7. The width Wb of a core central part of the open slot 7 is made larger than the width of the outer peripheral side of the open slot 7. The punching width is made the width W of the open slot 7. A stepdifference is formed in the open slot 7, punching is facilitated, and the deformed part 9 is prevented from being left in a rotor core 1.
